In 2019, LACT in collaboration with the Center for Strategic Therapy (CTS) of Arezzo, directed by Giorgio Nardone, created the Clinical Master in Strategic Systemic Therapy. This program is unique in France and is aimed at mental health and support professionals.

Clinical Master in Strategic Systemic Therapy - Giorgio Nardone

Training aims

The main objective of this master's degree is to provide in-depth specialization in systemic and strategic brief therapy. Participants learn to use specific treatment protocols and intervention strategies to treat various psychopathologies, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, phobias, and sexual dysfunctions.

Program content

The master's degree includes 170 hours of classes, 3 individual supervisions of 45 minutes, and approximately 175 hours of personal work. The training is 100% online, alternating half-days of virtual face-to-face, individual and collective supervision, as well as individual or small group work.

The main modules include:

Foundations of the strategic systemic approach:

  • Introduction to the basic concepts of the systemic and strategic approach, developed by the Palo Alto school.

Brief strategic therapy:

  • Study of treatment protocols and therapeutic stratagems for different psychopathologies.

Strategic problem solving:

  • Techniques and methods for approaching and solving complex problems strategically.

Systemic and strategic coaching:

  • Application of systemic principles in coaching to improve professional and personal performance.

Treated psychopathologies

The program places particular emphasis on the treatment of the most complex disorders, such as:

  • Panic attacks
  • OCD
  • Anorexia and binge eating
  • Sexual dysfunctions

The methods taught in this master's degree are based on empirical and experimental research carried out by Giorgio Nardone since 1985. These techniques have proven their effectiveness and efficiency, offering rapid and lasting solutions to patients.
