Transcription of the intervention of Dr P. occupational physician:

“I have been working as an occupational physician for 30 years.

I am currently employed in a company of 3,500 people which cultivates excellence, performance, rapid adaptation to change and I encounter difficult situations, major pathologies, particularly in young subjects.

Before my arrival, it was customary for staff in difficulty to contact the HRD, which gave them the contact details of the Labor Clinic.

I set up another way of working by creating a direct link with these employees, devoting time to listening to them and establishing a close relationship.

Most of the time, they are stuck in their problem and the first thing to do is to extract them from their workplace. Because they must first be supported by their attending physician for drug therapies before any work such as that advocated by LACT, oriented on professional aspects, can be undertaken. In this regard, I regret not being able to be put in touch with the attending physicians.

I am of course in contact with the HRD and often hear another version of things. I think for my part that it is relatively easy to quickly identify inappropriate behavior. I very often note dysfunctions between employees and managers, which very quickly favors the evolution of an initially individual problem towards a collective team problem.
