What is a collective intervention? Before thinking about intervention, let's see what a collective would be from our point of view.

A collective would be a relevant system , built from the identification of all the actors who, for example within a company, will act and who do not succeed. In this conception, this means that it is not those who do the work - it is not a work activity - who make the collective.

In family therapies, it is not the whole family that is concerned but those of the members who are actors, who have a problem and who act to try to solve it.

Consideration of the relevant system, as defined above, determines the process of intervention with key actors.

The next step is to define how we can work with this collective and what is its objective?

In our approach, we seek to help the relevant system to produce changes in its rules, to mobilize the actors of this system and above all to block dysfunctional attempts at solutions.

Who says collective does not necessarily mean that everyone is working, that everyone will be mobilized, neither together nor at the same time. Compared to other approaches, we make a distinction on the sequencing. What seems important to us is to set up something that can be developed, on a voluntary basis, with participation that can be individual or collective. The objective is to help the evolution of a social norm by putting the actors to work based on their concerns and taking into account their resources.

In relation to the company, it is fundamental to clarify the order by understanding well what are the problems and the objectives to be achieved. You have to stay focused on the issue.

Next comes the time to review the history of solution attempts . Unlike other approaches whose primary idea is to go to the why, we are fundamentally committed to identifying the redundancies of the attempted solutions in order to then calibrate an efficient intervention device.

The next question is what form our intervention will take. If, for example, we observe that the group discusses a lot to see its own impotence, we will wonder about the advisability of bringing it together in its entirety at the risk of perpetuating a resignation, a despair, individual and collective, a condition of course against -productive to bring out creativity.

Definition of an intervention framework : our role is to stimulate the decisions of the relevant players, to prevent decision-makers from delegating their responsibilities, to avoid the pitfall of a situation that would make a savior become a scapegoat. We are careful to negotiate and ensure that the responsible players remain responsible.

In family situations, we have the same kind of concern.

Our intervention framework is flexible, scalable and is part of a process that can be readjusted . We can punctuate the temporality after the operative diagnosis which is a key moment because it is the moment when we can put the patients to work, at the end of the intervention which is not a closure but a moment when we find autonomy, which is more dynamic in the search for new resources, if necessary during the intervention.

Who do we work with? Our sponsors are the HRDs, different hierarchical levels of the company, an internal coach. In other settings, school for example, heads of establishments, doctors. We can also see other types of contributors.

Fence. It is done with all the actors mobilized. Its purpose is to highlight alternative resources, to give visibility to the factors of change, to personal and systemic work, to give height to the authors of the change and to the process of generalization.

From the point of view of the company and its organization, our difference compared to the arrangements prevailing in the work environment, is that we mix the hierarchical levels, the functions, the roles .

The restitution is more or less broad. It is done in "therapeutic" pairs, a sort of group itself, in the dynamic of a complementarity necessary for change and very useful in the face of resistance to this change.
