The systemic and strategic approach

It is based on an intervention method developed by the School of Palo Alto and developed by its current research centers. Its specificities and originality allow you to:

  • to know how to apprehend the complexity of human relationships and bring a biopsychosocial vision to the psychological and relational problems that develop in ever more volatile, unpredictable, complex and ambiguous contexts (VUCA in English).
  • to be strategic in terms of relational regulation by relying on 2 essential techniques which are problem solving and strategic communication, which make it possible to reduce the complexity of a relational situation without distorting it and to obtain effective operational effects and sustainability in resource development and problem solving.

Presentation of LACT

  • Officially representing the Mental Research Institute of Palo Alto, the LACT intervention, research and training center offers you long training courses, short training courses, all oriented towards mastery and expertise in the implementation of mental health. strategic systemic intervention in different sectors of society (helping relationship, care, education, legal, etc.)
  • Lact is a Datadock, ODPC training organization, in a Qualiopi approach process.

Description

The Perfection level - allows those who already master a clinical practice, to approach and treat the main psychopathologies from a biopsychosocial perspective (panic disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, depression, addictions, relational disorders, etc.).

It includes 168 hours of lessons, 3 individual supervision sessions of 45 minutes, approximately 160 hours of personal work, 147 hours of internship and a practice formalization dissertation to be written and defended. It makes it possible to acquire a third clinical level in methodology and practice in the strategic systemic approach.

  • 100% online, it alternates face-to-face half-days, individual and collective supervision, individual or sub-group working time.
  • it is provided by specialized international trainers from the medical world, business, scientific research and universities.

Openings/specialization

The Advanced level - allows you to acquire techniques, strategies, therapeutic stratagems and specific protocols to treat different types of psychopathologies, some of which have become real best practices.

At the end of these 3 levels of training, you obtain a diploma of Relationship Clinician in brief strategic therapy.

Formation's goal

Perfect your clinical practice as a Strategic Systemic Intervener on the most common life disorders and the main psychopathologies

Skills acquired at the end of the training

  • Conduct a strategic systemic intervention based on an appropriate intervention strategy to help the patient resolve a life difficulty that is causing them problems or achieve a specific objective.

  • Describe the dysfunctional and pathogenic regulatory dynamics associated with the most common disorders (self-to-self, self-to-others, and self-to-the-world) using the patient's perceptual and reactive processes to guide intervention strategy the most effective and efficient.

  • Adjusting his posture as a speaker and his strategic communication according to the personality of the patient and the nature of his difficulties in order to consolidate the therapeutic alliance and the effectiveness of the intervention

  • Enrich their learning around their practice self-observation tools in order to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their interventions.
