      Task prescriptions

      By Vincent Gerard

This 4-session module presents the fundamental elements of the systemic model and its main strategic characteristics.

      The systemic and strategic approach

It is based on an intervention method developed by the School of Palo Alto and developed by its current research centers. Its specificity and originality are:

      • to know how to apprehend the complexity of human relations and bring a biopsychosocial vision to the psychological and relational problems that develop in ever more volatile, unpredictable, complex and ambiguous contexts.
      • to be strategic in terms of relational regulation by relying on 2 essential techniques which are problem solving and strategic communication, which make it possible to reduce the complexity of a relational situation without distorting it and to obtain effective operational effects and sustainability in resource development and problem solving.

"A look at the world, an intervention model and a strategic and pragmatic approach to voluntary change."
      Claude de Scorraille

      Description

Task prescription module includes 12 hours of lessons, divided into 4 sessions and approximately 12 hours of personal work. It makes it possible to identify and implement the different types of prescriptions (anthropological, reflexive, suggestive, behavioral) specific to the strategic systemic approach which aim to help the patient solve his problem. With the help of practical simulation exercises, in sub-groups, you will have the opportunity to appropriate the main issues of the prescription of tasks: general reformulation of the functioning of the patient's problem, implementation of a double therapeutic constraint, taking into account the position of the patient and his vision of the world, hypnotic rhetoric facilitating the appropriation of the prescription by the patient.

      • > 100% online, it alternates face-to-face half-days including individual or sub-group work time.
      • > it is provided by specialized international trainers from the clinical and business worlds.

      Openings/specialization

The " Prescription of tasks " module allows you to appropriate a way of prescribing to the patient specific exercises aimed at helping him in solving his problem.

This additional cross-cutting contribution is transferable to different types of activities and functions of support, education and helping relationship professionals or stakeholders in the clinical world.

      Formation's goal

Select and communicate appropriate prescriptions for strategic systemic intervention.

Skills acquired at the end of the training

      • Contractualize the patient's commitment in the therapeutic process using the therapeutic double bind with a view to the application by the patient of the prescriptions intended to create change
      • Identify the different types of prescriptions, according to their nature (anthropological, reflexive, suggestive, behavioral) or their orientation (problem or solution), in order to implement them according to the stages of the intervention and their relevance to the patient specificity
      • Frame, contextualize and communicate the prescription to the patient using a general reformulation, a co-construction taking into account the position and the resources of the patient as well as a personalized hypnotic rhetoric, in order to increase compliance of the patient
      • Repeat the prescriptions that have had the effect of initiating a change (emotional, cognitive, behavioral, relational) to promote the emergence of a new redundancy and reinforce the change in the patient
