Ericksonian hypnosis is more than a technique, it is the cornerstone of the practice of so-called strategic brief therapies. The handling of Ericksonian hypnosis, also called conversational hypnosis, aims above all to bring about change.

Milton Erickson has dedicated his life to thinking up strategies for change to help his patients break free from their problems. He quickly became interested in hypnosis and his work renewed the way of practicing hypnosis, from the second half of the 20th century . He is considered the father of brief therapies.

This interactive training is aimed at practitioners wishing to understand the tools and techniques of hypnosis as part of an interactional approach. It also offers the possibility,  as a practitioner, of developing a good quality of presence, to better capture the present moment, here and now, and guide the patient towards his resources, on the path to change .

" The techniques in hypnosis as in brief therapy are thought of as relational techniques because they take on meaning in a dimension of interaction: the use of dissociated language, strategic questions, metaphors, focusing on sensory feelings or the movements, the therapeutic tasks, are actions that set the relationship in motion ." Julien Betbeze (psychiatrist, practitioner in hypnosis and brief therapies, specialist in the narrative model. Editor-in-chief of the journal Hypnose et Thérapies Brèves. Pedagogical adviser and trainer for the Hypnosis Masters at LACT).

      Description

The Initiation level of the International Masters in Hypnosis includes 18 hours of lessons and about 20 hours of personal work, for students already engaged in one of the LACT training courses.

In addition to the training in strategic systemic approach, this training in hypnosis aims to connect the different worlds of hypnosis, through the founding contributions of Milton Erickson, while taking into account the family and systemic readings of Salvador Minuchin and Jay Haley. . The different modules offered will allow you to acquire a vision that connects you intimately to your patient in an approach that combines rigor and intuition, and in which the voice, the gaze and the sensations are highlighted.

      • The training takes place 100% online and offers an alternation between theory and practice, individual and collective supervision, individual or sub-group working time.
      • The courses are provided by international trainers from the medical world and scientific research.
      • Learning is centered on practice: between simulations, role plays, exercises, case studies and live supervisions.

      Formation's goal

Understand the tools and techniques of hypnosis within the framework of an interactional approach.

Skills acquired at the end of the training

      • Structure and implement appropriate hypnotic strategies using techniques and tools from Ericksonian hypnosis and self-hypnosis in order to relieve the patient's suffering and stimulate their autonomy.
      • Adapting one's posture as a speaker and one's communication to those of the patient, using induction techniques and verbal and non-verbal language, in order to reinforce the therapeutic alliance and the cooperation of the patient.
      • Intensify the quality of the present moment, here and now, through the experience of the body and the mind in order to optimize its presence and the relationship in order to facilitate change.
      • Develop their own learning using the tools of self-observation of practice in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their interventions.
