Coach and trainer

Two interactive, personal and authentic sessions to tackle the subject of resilience. This module comes from the business development system of the Strategic Coach training.

Description

First associated with materials science, resilience is defined as the ability of a material to absorb impact energy by deforming. In the field of psychology, this concept refers to a person's ability to regain a state of balance in a context of adversity, but also an ability to resist pressure. In the company, we speak of resilience under the prism of adaptability according to the interactional dynamics of its actors when they face a difficulty (whether internal or external). In this module, trainer Anton STELLAMANS will introduce you to resilience from the perspective of a "compass" whose cardinal directions evoke four areas: acceptance, meaning, connection and activity.

Objective of the module

  • Study the phenomenon of resilience in business.
  • Understand the tools to increase resilience in others and yourself.
  • Implement an appropriate collective intervention strategy with regard to this innovative concept
  • Observe through the presentation of concrete cases the different possible strategies

 

Module program

The sessions will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Paris time)

Skills acquired at the end of the training (pedagogical objectives)

  • Apply solution-oriented conversation techniques to gain positive circular reading.
  • Acquire active listening, with your third ear and develop empathy.
  • Connect and explore, while paying attention to complaints.
  • Understand and apply the "resilience compass" in order to intervene effectively through a strategic resilience approach

  • Any manager, HR and professional in the field of business support, experienced or in retraining

Former

Anton STELLAMANS: is a coach, trainer and facilitator at Ilfaro (www.ilfaro.be). He has many years of experience in various organizations. At the University of Louvain, he obtained 2 master's degrees in philosophy and history. He completed the four-year training course in solution-oriented brief therapy at the Korzybski Institute in Bruges. Since 2011, he has also been associated with this institute as a trainer. He sits on the board of the SFIO (www.sfio.org) and has published 3 books on resilience and feedback: “Resilient People, Resilient Teams”, “The art of giving feedback” and “Wendbaar als het woelig word”.

Interactive and experiential approach

  • Individual work, in pairs and sub-groups during and outside the sessions
  • Excerpts from intervention sessions or complete sessions 
  • Group facilitation method (LS/Wooclap)
  • Analysis and sharing of experiences

Evaluation and monitoring methods

Obtaining the certificate for this module requires: 

  • to have passed 75% of the homework to be done outside of class (MCQ, videos, homework, collaborative work, etc.) 
  • to have attended at least 75% of the course sessions 

Assessment of student satisfaction

At the end of the training, a satisfaction questionnaire will be completed by each participant so that they can assess the relevance of the content of the training with regard to their professional practice and the achievement of their objectives.
